Blyth Valley Consultants Ltd (Trading as Over the Hill) is based in Blyth Northumberland.

We started off in a small way as Ebay traders, but have now decided to venture into direct sales through the internet.

We sell new and used Games Workshop products, and hope to expand further into Role Playing Games Products , Historical Wargames and other sectors as we can.

Changes in terms and conditions

There has been a change in Games Workshop's Terms and Conditions. We are no longer able to sell their products (well, at least those products we have bought from them on trade terms ) outside the European Economic Area. 

So if you're in , say the USA or Australia, thank you for your interest but we're very sorry that we are unable to supply to you.

(In practical terms, it makes little difference to us as I've only had two sales outside the EU in a year, but I will comply with GWs terms from now on)

But for countries inside the EEA , don't forget that our prices include UK postage , contact us for a quotation for shipping outside the UK

What drives us?

Well, profit is a factor of course, but so is the bringing of Games Workshop to this part of the world.  We enjoy the various games that GW produce, and it is our aim to spread the word.

People

The company is a small family run business, run by Alisdair & Sheila Gibbs-Barton. We are looking to move into commercial, retail premises, but for now we operate mainly on the internet. We have investigated various premises in Blyth , Cramlington, Whitley Bay and North Shields but the right premises are yet to be found. While we are operating in a small way from home, we can continue to keep costs, and therefore prices, down.                                 

All of our prices listed on this website are inclusive of UK Postage and packing. For sales outside the UK please contact us before buying, and we will contact you. Remember, we can only sell Games Workshop products within the EEA, not outside. 

We tend to use the Post Office rather than couriers, full fetails of their services, and prices can be found at www.royalmail.com 

As well as Mail Order, we can deliver in the Blyth area, and can always make arrangements for delivery and pick up. If in doubt, ask.

We also use, as far as possible recycled packaging, so don't be alarmed if your item comes in a cereal packet, and please don't comment on our choices of cereal !!!

Games Workshop no longer provide the artwork for their excellent range of products. We have taken photographs of the items we offer. 

The advantage of having to photograph the actual items means that you know we have it in stock.  The disadvantage is that I'm a poor photographer with a cheap camera!

We tend to keep one of each item in stock, but on some of the more popular items we keep more than one. Assume we only have one item, unless a listing states otherwise, but again , please ask about availability.

And, if there's something in particular that you want, we may have one in stock, but we can always order one.

  



Collection Only

A new development is the Collection Only  section. On here you will find a small range of items that cannot, for one reason or another, be delivered. They may be things that are too heavy (such as large boxes) or that cannot be sent by post due to Post Office regulations. These items can be picked up from our address (in Blyth Northumberland ) or that we can deliver within Blyth or the surrounding area at no extra cost. If you want them delivered (posted) to you, please contact us to discuss delivery.

Clearance

From time to time we do buy stock that doesn't sell, and now that we cannot use Ebay to dispose of them, we have added a Clearance Page. These are all new stock, we are just selling them off at below cost to make some room for new items until we get a "bricks and mortar" shop. Unless stated, we have only one of each item in stock
