SALE

From Sunday 13th May until Tuesday 22nd May we are opening all stock to sensible offers. All you need to do is send an EMail with "Offer" as the subject to sales@blyth-valley-consultants.co.uk with details, including the stock number , your offer price, and whether you will collect the item or want it posting ...this will help us decide if your offer is realistic or not. For these sales items we would prefer cash or cheque, but can accept Paypal for larger sales.

As we said, all sensible offers will be considered.

NEWS

The main news is about a change in Games Workshop's Terms and Conditions. We are no longer able to sell their products (well, at least those products we have bought from them on trade terms ) outside the European Economic Area.

So if you're in , say the USA or Australia, thank you for your interest but we're very sorry that we are unable to supply to you.

(In practical terms, it makes little difference to us as I've only had two sales outside the EU in a year, but I will comply with GWs terms from now on)

But for countries inside the EEA , don't forget that our prices include UK postage , contact us for a quotation for shipping outside the UK

PAINTS

Games Workshop have relaunced, and renamed, their paint names. On this site the paints are listed in the names on the pot; if you're unsure of the new equivalent, please ask. The new paints are not an exact match to the old ones, so if you have started your army in the old paint range, you might want to buy a pot in the same colour. If in doubt, ask.

The latest news is the re-issue of The Empire Army book, together with some exciting new models and figures. The release date is 7th April, and I'll be adding a selection of the new models, but I already have many Empire figures. So if you're looking to start an Empire army, have a look at what we've got to offer.

Many of the scenic items (see "Collection Only" ) can be used as fulcrums in Storm of Magic. These now include the magnificent Skullvane Manse model.

Another recnt release is Blood in the Badlands, which includes new siege rules for Warhammer.

In the Warhammer 40K world, recent news is the re-release of the Necrons. My reading of the Codex leads me to the view that they'll be fun to play and fun to play against. There are forums on the net that say that the codex is broken, but that's not from players that have used it!

There have also been some exciting new models for the Necrons, to be honest they are EXCELLENT! I was not a Necron player before, but these might well tempt me.

ROYAL MAIL PRICE RISES

Price rises have been announced for postage from 30th April. We will be bearing the costs for UK customers, but will have to pass on the charges to customers outside the UK. This shouldn't lead to much greater prices, but please contact us if you are outside the UK and wish to purchase something from us.

We will always endeavour to sell our stock at the best possible prices.
